Fro Pieces is an on-going project that started through docu­menting the experiences that black women on my campus had with their hair. I asked my friends on campus to describe to me their experiences in the world about their hair. I also continued the project on a trip to Cuba where I interviewed and photographed Cuban of African descent that I encountered. This project has expanded into an instagram page and a youtube channel.
